The team behind Defendingo
We build Defendingo because everyone deserves to know what their own computer is doing online, without being a network expert.
Why Defendingo exists
Every computer talks to dozens of servers a day. The tools that show this were made for network engineers: rows of numbers and addresses. Defendingo shows the same truth as names, companies and plain words, so anyone can tell normal from worth a look.
Built in Rust
The apps and this website are written in Rust, a language made for speed and memory safety. That's why the guard runs all day on about 20 MB of memory, and why this site loads instantly without a single script.
Trust you can check
Updates are signed with a key that never touches our server. Every download has a published fingerprint you can compare. Your history never leaves your computer. How we keep you safe
Never in your way
Defendingo watches and explains. It never blocks your apps, ends programs or changes your settings, so it can't break a game, a call or your work.
Windows, Linux and Mac
The same guard dog, dashboard and plain-language warnings on Windows 11 and 10 and on Linux, from Ubuntu and Mint to Fedora and Arch. Mac early access is open.
